A Fusion of Custom Design Features in a Grand Family Home
Architect and interior designer, Milan Sipek, has once again proven his expertise in the field with the completion of the 4 Seasons Villa project. This magnificent private villa project combined two neighboring villas into one grand family residence, providing a perfect example of modern luxury living.
The interior design of the 4 Seasons Villa is a showcase of custom-made features, with a variety of custom-designed wardrobes, floors, and light fixtures. The grand entrance is lined with gilded and carved wardrobe doors featuring a cherry blossom tree design, created by a local artist under the direction of Milan Sipek. One of these doors even hides a hidden passage leading to the dining room.
The floors are decorated with a custom-designed marble pattern that stretches and twists its way into the grand living room. Here, the marble patterns continue up the walls and join with the ceiling structure, complementing the floor patterns and also hiding existing structural beams in its design.
One of the highlights of the living room is the massive chandelier, designed by Milan Sipek himself and made from precious Czech crystal. This chandelier is in the form of lotus flowers suspended from the imposing ceiling. A custom-made handrail, which matches the chandelier, adorns the second-floor balcony overlooking the living room. Throughout the house, Milan Sipek has created custom-made design elements such as handrails in the staircase and custom-made crystal chandeliers in the dining room.
The basement floor of the 4 Seasons Villa features a billiards room, bar, home theater, karaoke room, and spa, all illuminated by custom-made lighting objects created by Milan Sipek. The second floor has three bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and a study room for the children of the family. The third floor features the Master bedroom and bathroom, a walk-in wardrobe, a home office, and a library, both with custom-made shelving.
The 4 Seasons Villa project, which took approximately one year to complete, was finished for a private client in Shanghai by Milan Sipek and his Shanghai design team. With an area of 1000 sqm, the 4 Seasons Villa is a stunning example of the designer's talent and creativity, and a testament to the possibilities of modern luxury living.
