The vessel for the journey may not match the spirit that steers. All that it requires of this world may only bring dread, as does one contemplate too deeply of great decisions when in quiet places. Let that blue bird fly, have it carry away time and the self, so we may leave what's left behind. And perhaps then, the artist may not be so separate from their experience.
